This station has been modified several times. The
current station for line 3 is new opening in 1971 when the Galleni
extension opened. The original Gambetta station was further east. Line
3bis uses the original departure platforms when Gambetta was the
terminal from 1901-1921. The station's move forced the closure of Martin
Naduad station, but the former station is used for access to Gambetta.
