tokyo-lr-to12.jpg (56441 bytes)It is hard to believe that any light rail lines have survived in this busy city of subways and commuter lines. There are two lines left in the Tokyo area

One line remains from the vast Tokyo tram network, the other line is short line run by a private commuter railroad. There is talk of extending the city line, and possibly building a new line in Tokyo.

I have also included a ride at Tokyo DisneySea that acts as transportation within that park. It is an elvated railway that is trying to mimic New York, but it more ao a light railway.
