This is the southern most station of the transit tunnel. Originally buses from I-90, I-5 and the Busway join the Light Rail line to enter the Downtown Transit Tunnel. Before Light Rail, the Dual-Mode busses raised their trolley poles, then entered the station. Later they switched to hybrid buses, so this is not necessary. Buses stopped running in 2018.
