Phoenix

Phoenix, despite its rapid growth of freeways continues to get more congested everyday. Valley Metro has instituted several Bus Rapid Transit lines that run on HOV lanes. The main one operates along the I-10 Freeway from the south to Downtown and the Capitol Mall.
Phoenix operates a Bus Rapid Transit System. In reality it is just an express route system using modern, conformable buses that utilize HOV lanes on the Freeways. (4/23/04)
