EWR Monorail |
The Newark AirTrain is a monorail that has done much to reduce traffic congestion at this very busy airport. It links all 3 terminals, the rental car and long term parking lots. Later an extension opened that links the airport with the Amtrak/NJ Transit NE Corridor. The system is based on the Sydney Harbour (now closed) monorail system.
There is recent talk about replacing the system with different technology
