Golden Spike National MonumentHere is a replica locomotive from the Golden Spike Ceremony at Promontory, Utah. Here you can drive on parts of the original RoW. A portion of the line has been re-laid to simulate the historic location of the connection of the nation's first transcontinental Railroad, joining the Central Pacific with the Union Pacific (7/96).
