Former Tram Tunnel

Points of Interest Trams to North Sydney used to start underground at Wynyard Station in a subway then over the Sydney Harbour Bridge to the north side. The underground line was never connected to the surface trams in Sydney proper. The old tram platforms at Wynyard are not accessible, but you can see the entrance to the tunnel at the city side of the Harbour Bridge along the walking path.

The tunnel entrance is just beyond the door in view (3/5/2019) Hard to see, but there is the tunnel entrance (3/5/2019)
