Magic Kingdom Railroad

Disney World

When the Magic Kingdom was conceived in Florida, it had to have the railroad ring around the park just like the one in Disneyland. Althought the one at Disneyland does have one more station. It does give a good overview of the park. Trains run every 4 to 10 minutes and a great way to relacx your feet for a while and get out fo the Florida sun.

There are 4 different steam locomotives on the railroad, the Walter E. Disney, Lilly Belle, Roger E. Broggie and Roy O Disney.  There are all narrow gauge locomotive found in Mexico before come to Florida and refurbished for Disney operation.

The yards and shops for the railroad are backstage and are below the Monorail yards and shops.
