Miami Transit
Tri-rail

Commuter Rail

Tri-Rail was originally conceived as a temporary traffic relief rail operation during a major freeway project for I-95. It is now become a permanent part of the Miami area transit system. Tri-Rail serves Magnolia Park, Palm Beach & Fort Lauderdale to the north and Miami Airport to the south. A connection with Miami's Metrorail allows passengers access to downtown Miami.

Tri-Rail just completed a major system upgrade which allows more trains to operate both peak and off-peak without as much interference of freight traffic.
