Light Rail

Birmingham has a modern light rail line that opened in 1999 and is undergoing expansion. The system is called metro, but is very much a Light Rail line. The line runs in streets and former railway right-of-way.

I have rode its entire length as it was in 2018. Only 3 stations are featured here, Wolverhampton St. George, Jewelry Quarter and Grand Central (Brimingham New Street Station).
