Bus and Trolleybus

C
Lyon
Lyon started convertign its large first generation tram network in 1935 to trolleybuses, and later buses. Lyon at one point had the largest number of trolleybuses in service in France. Although the sytem has retracted, it has undergone a renaissance wtih line expansion and signal priority in some areas.

I found the buses highly utilized during my visit in 2019.
