Transit Museums, North America
Oregon Electric Railway Museum

I happen to be the Webmaster for this museum. This museum moved from Gales Creek in the Coast Range mountains to the Willamette Valley in 1996. Limited operations commenced in 1997. There is now over a 1/2 mile of electrified trackage and a car barn to house the collection. The museum has cars from the West Coast, Canada, England, Australia and Hong Kong. The collection dates from 1897 to 1977.  The museum plans to add a restoration shop as well as an interpretive center in the coming years. It is clearly the largest trolley museum in the Pacific Northwest.

The photos below are a mere sampling of the cars in their collection. Please enjoy!
