Dallas

The Dallas Streetcar is a new system currently linking Union Station to Dallas Methodist Medical Center. The line uses two modern streetcars from Brookville. When the line crossed over the Trinity River on the Houston St Viaduct, they use battery power. Overhead wire was banned on the viduct for historical reasons.

Eventually the line will continue in the Oak Cliff neighborhood into the Bishop Arts district. And on the Union Station to the Convention Center and possibly link with the McKinney Streetcar line.

Currenly no fares are charged on this line.
