Formerly Umekoji Steam Locomotive Museum

This is a large railway museum in Kyoto, just a 20 minute walk or short bus ride from Kyoto station. The museum was formerly jsut a steam locomotive museum. In 2016 the museum was enlarges and combined with the former Osaka Modern Transport Museum to become what it is today. I have not visited the musuem since it was enlarged. There is also a small streetcar operation here.
