The Railway Museum

This large railway museum is a 20 minute walk from the JR Omiya Station, or one stop of the Omiya new town shuttle line. It is operated by JR-East. It is located under the Tohoku Shinkansen line and next to the JR lines. It is a great museum that should not be missed!

From Tokyo, take a JR Takasaki or Utsunomiya Line from Ueno Station, or any JR-East Shinkansen from Tokyo or Ueno to Omiya station. Then board the Omiya Town Shuttle train one stop to the museum.
