Dallas DART Light Rail
Downtown Area

Both the Red and Blue lines share common trackage through downtown Dallas. The line skirts the north end of downtown and with stops at the entertainment area of the West End. It curves south to connect with Union Station providing connections to the Trinity Railway Express. It hooks back west to connect with the large Convention Center before heading back south. With the two lines a 10 minute headway base service with 5 minute rush hour service is provided. There are plans for a second trunk line through downtown along with another line to come in from the east and west.
